A Walk in Boxford II

Fine Art Print

$35.00

This painting is part of a series that explores the beauty of the historic town of Boxford, Massachusetts. Boxford was established in 1685 and remains heavily forested to this day as it has almost no commercial development. While there are many hiking trails throughout the town, this painting was based on a photo taken down the street from the house I used to live in. Living in Boxford kept nature close. It was there that I would look out the window and become mesmerized by the forest trees swaying in the wind, dazzling light filtering in between their countless leaves, which became the central focus of my art. Boxford is where I found my voice as an artist, and I wanted to honor it with this series of paintings. Each painting is meant to feel like a beautiful memory of my time there.
